The breadboards
There are many types of breadboards. The most common has dimensions of 165x55x10mm.
The breadboard is a very good way to test an assembly without performing any welding
The breadboard are provided with notches allowing them to be assembled for complex assemblies:
Power rails
On the edges of the breadboard, there are two supply rails, clearly visible because underlined by colored lines in red and blue (see photo). If we connect a power module, the negative and the corresponding voltage becomes available at any point on this rail:
To better understand all the intricacies of using these breadboards, look this video:
ARDUINO Nano on breadboard
ARDUINO Nano cards are sold in two forms:
- kit to assemble. You will have to solder the connectors
- assembled kit. The connectors are soldered
ARDUINO Nano cards with soldered connectors can be inserted directly on the breadboards.
If you want to develop in FORTH language with ARDUINO Nano cards, then put by applying your test montages on final montages, it is worth buying cards without mounted connectors and cards with mounted connectors.
Here is an example of a mounting diagram for an ARDUINO Nano card on a breadboard:
Once your test setup is complete and functional, it will be easy to connect an ARDUNO Nano card without connector to the final circuit.
