The PIR sensor used here is an HC-SR501 it allows to capture the radiation mobile infrared and therefore detect movement. It is often used in automatic ignition systems or other alarm systems. It is easy to use, efficient, precise and reliable.

Its range is approximately 7m.

On the module. Two potentiometers, one used to adjust the duration of its state. The other is used to adjust the detection distance.
